Description

Long ago, on a cold morning after a storm, the people of the nomadic Silurian village awoke to an infants cry. In the center of the village a bundle was found, a small Silurian Faunus baby wrapped within. No one knew who he was or where he had come from; with such a small population there was no way he could be unclaimed by any village couple. Many believe he was somehow abandoned by parents from their sister tribe, the Vastra; though how one came this far just to vanish and abandon their son is unclear. Others even thing he is a direct spawn of the Goddess Sirona, but only because they have no other ideas.

The baby was taken in by the current Chief and his wife, raising him alongside their own son Jormun. The Chief's wife named his Asmodeus, as she claimed she somehow knew it was his name, but had no explanation as to how or why. The boy grew handsome and smart, being the object of many young girls affections and many young boys ire. He though only had eyes for one girl, the lovely Velka, much to his adopted brothers dismay at the time.

All of this is as much as his eldest son, Ragnar, knows of his father. He know that before his birth Asmodeus was driven from the village, committing a crime of sorts, but no one has ever explained what it was. As a child he only met his father once; on a night the village was attacked by Grimm, his father came to see Velka and finally meet his young son. Ragnar's semblance activated during this meeting, seeing the Threads of Fate binding his mother to his father. There were also the dozens wrapped around Asmodeus, clearly binding him to many fates, whether good or bad Ragnar could not tell.

After this night the two did not meet again till he was a man older then his parents were at his birth.

Asmodeus has been committed to another lover, Liliana Aglaia, since the death of Velka. Though the two have a son together and she loves him dearly, Asmodeus sees her only as a replacement. Liliana shares physical similarities to his true love Velka, horns, green eyes and red hair in a similar style. He cares little for the son they share, as Aithen was born blind and is viewed as useless by his father.

Though they have yet to meet in the flesh again, Asmodeus has kept tabs on Ragnar, knowing of his Reaper status and many adventured.
