Description

Ivory Edelweiss was born to a well-to-do family in the northern regions of Anima many years ago. The Edelweiss family were aristocrats who often sponsored soldiers and aided armies when the need arose. Unfortunately, during her birth, complications took her mother Pearl's life and left the girl with only her father Mistel and aunt Holly to raise her. Only a few years later however, she lost her father as well, leaving her to be raised by Holly alone.

At this time, Holly Edelweiss was the Winter Maiden and often brought Ivory with her on minor adventures and taught her the way of the sword along the way. On one such adventure though, tragedy struck. An agent of Salem, sent out to steal the Maiden powers, confronted Holly and mortally wounded her. Luckily, before secumming to her injuries she fended her foe off enough to look at Ivory and bestow the Maiden power to her.

With her newfound power and rage at loosing her last parental figure, she unleashed a massive snow storm, burying Holly's killer and the entire surrounding forest. Ivory herself barely survived, lucky enough to be found by local villagers investigating the sudden winter storm in the middle of summer. She was eventually turned back over to what remained of the Edelweiss family and was later trained by the other Maidens of the time to control her powers.

When she was 18, her family arranged her marriage with Arian Torchwood, a Silver-Eyed warrior and champion knight of Vale. He sought Ivory out personally, for she was both of noble birth and possessed immense power. A bit of a narcissist, Arian wanted her only for status and in hopes of producing powerful offspring to carry on his legacy one day. Together the had one child, a daughter named Silvia. Ivory did her best to love her newborn, but felt no maternal feeling for her; Silvia was raised mostly by her paternal aunt Gina Torchwood much like her own mother grew up.

Ivory has struggled much through life and her loyalties are questionable at times. Her lack of love for her husband and silent anger at the world have made her a ticking time bomb that could turn at any moment.
