The quote 'he who must not be named'.
You don't know Voldemort? From Harry Potter?
I haven't even read the books or watched all the movies and I still know who he is :/

I'm too much of a nerd.... I read this, understood it's religious signifigence immediately, but the very next thing into my mind was, 'Doctor.'

Thanks! They have 2 recent albums that I don't like as much, but their first 2 albums are great! "The Listening EP" and "The Listening LP"

Hm. Do you know if there is anywhere you can listen to these albums online? On the site I see just a link to iTunes, which I don't and couldn't use.

If I might nitpick here, I believe that the question mark should go next to saved, inside the quotation marks. I'm almost entirely certain that you're supposed to do that, even with a quote. There's always a chance I'm wrong, though, and I don't have a way to check it. Aside from that, nice!

Good question. I wondered the same thing myself. I get mixed feedback on using punctuation and quotations. I read this: [link] and decided to do what I did.
Thanks!

Yes. But there wasn't much of a follow up. So I ignored it.

Daniel-Gleebits In reply to Emberblue [2013-06-19 17:28:01 +0000 UTC]
I mean that there's not much follow up to the statement depicted here. "He who calls upon his name shall be saved", and I always think to myself when I hear the like, "Surely that's not all you have to say on the matter. Do not you have something to say after that in support?"
When the answer is no, then all I can do it look into it myself, you see. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it can be quite enlightening, but the whole point of the message would be strengthened by an adequate follow up.

Faith alone is enough. As a Catholic I have always found this single tenet to be extremely refreshing.

Emberblue In reply to WatcherCCG [2013-06-19 17:18:08 +0000 UTC]
Yes. And what does the book of James say? "Faith without works is dead". I think that people get confused. Faith alone is what saves us, but if we are saved there will be evidence by the things we do.

Indeed. Works determine our rewards, but that is all they do.
