***UPDATE***This design inspired a Slavic t-shirt company "His Kingdom". With my permission they reworked this design in their own language. They have multiple t-shirt designs and share in the goal of spreading the gospel. Take a look:

"To love is to die so the one that you love has life." This is what Jesus did for us. God loved the world so much that He sent His only Son to die for our sins so that we could have life. It was the ultimate sacrifice and the ultimate expression of love. This also applies to other relationships, like marriage for example. You die to yourself so that your spouse can have "life". Putting the needs of others above our own. This is the example of love that Jesus Christ set for us, and is the way that we should live out all of our relationships.

I enjoyed this powerful message, I really like this, the color is a good match to go with the message. God is using you. Perhaps by reading this on the shirt someone will be inspired to open up the written word of God and search the scriptures and find that God is Love… A great witnessing tool, keep up the great work and be blessed…

I really love this, but I'm worried people unfamiliar with the Bible will mistake the text for the actual scripture of John 3:16.

Well, it kinda does refer back to that scripture. Jesus loved us so much that He died for us. Maybe I should put "Jesus" at the bottom.

Nice shirt, but I would have worded it "To Love Is To Be Willing To Die So The One You Love Can Live". Loving someone does not equate to death, but it may be that is necessary. Just as Christ has died for us. God Bless.
