Description Easter artwork for a Christian church in Southern California. This was heavily influenced by the art of Ty Mattson (who was influenced by Saul Bass). Everything except for the text is original and drawn by myself. The idea was to represent in an iconic way the whole story of Jesus' death and resurrection.

I was searching dA for some Easter brushes etc and then I saw THIS. For the first time i see such a subject captured in style like this and I'm amazed. Looks very infographic. I just can't stop looking at this. Thank You for sharing!

This is beautiful! Great work. The colors are different and the piece has sharp contrast. You managed to fit a lot of symbolism in here.

Thanks!!! I totally stole the exact color scheme from Ty Mattson. But I applied it in a different way than he did, and it worked well. I always do red/black/white artwork for Easter stuff so I was determined to NOT do that color scheme this time. This is what I ended up with...and I realized that it is really close to red/black/white, lol! I can't get away from that color scheme!!!
