Description
Easter artwork for a Christian church in Southern California. This was heavily influenced by the art of Ty Mattson (who was influenced by Saul Bass). Everything except for the text is original and drawn by myself. The idea was to represent in an iconic way the whole story of Jesus' death and resurrection.Happy Resurrection Sunday!!!

SO AWESOME!!! At first, it kind of makes me think of ancient Greek painting on urns and pots as the design is very geometric and the colors are simple but bold. Then it kind of makes me think of a triptych. I really like how it tells the story of Easter from Friday to Sunday in one cohesive piece. Bold. Simple. Powerful. Communicative. And, for lack of a better term, it makes the story hit the heart. I was like, "YES!" /fistpump
