I wanted to change subject of my artworks, so I decided to do some fanarts about my the most favourite game:
Final Fantasy 8
It was over 6 years ago when I first played this game and I just fell in love with it... From then I try to play it every year and now I'm walking through this game for the 6th time
The monsters are one of my favourite subject and I think I'll draw more of them.
It is my first FF8 fanart ever.
Mesmerize - a common creature in FF8 world, you can meet it on many places. Here it is on a green fields of Trabia....
Resizing this image almost killed the details.... Too bad...

This is just so incredible and elegant~! You've made the entire outdoor scene beautiful; it looks really peaceful, and looks like it's just about to rain. I must say, you've inspired me to draw some FF8 fauna now! I really hope you draw more FF8 monster/outdoor scenes in the future~

I love it when fanarts convey other aspects of the source material besides the characters. Mesmerize is one of the most intriguing creature in FFVIII and I can totally see in my mind from what parts of the world map this scene is captured. Great work! XD

I remember trying to hunt down a bunch of these one time so I could get their blades to refine into something...I don't remember what it was, though.
