Interesting piece! There's an English folk song by the namke of "Death and the Lady" that makes me think of this... (actually, just checking, and the particular version I was thinking of was written by a band called Tungg, but it is based on a trad song)

Imagined Village do a great version of it - might be on YouTube.
Beautifully composed and well put together - this comes across as if it had actually been taken all in one, rather than made from various pieces. My only concern would be around the feet - there's something about the way they join the ground/the shadow that doesn't quite work - but that's only on looking at it very closely. Everything else is stunning, and very dreamscape-y/nightmar-ish.
Fab work

Dark yes... must be that time I guess, they turn off the lights and go play in the cemetery.

Hmmm. Well when you come for an adventure we will take you out to some of the very old ones we have here.

they must be in the open, aren't they? our cementeries here are in enclosed places, and there's no way going in after the doors are closed.

Yes, many are in the open, though some are quite large and in sort of park like areas.

I bet they are much different from ours. Our cementery is quite small and cluttered, and very old. Once my grandmother almost fell into a tomb when the floor collapsed under her feet

OOOOH my... well there is one in Augusta, Georgia for instance that is quite old, and has just a forest of monuments... we wandered around it a bit when I was living down there last year.

cementery monuments can be very fascinating We have one that represents a shipwreck that took place many years ago and in which perished all the sailors aboard.

Something rather unexpected from you, Rose. Though I like it very much. It's plain but everything is very carefully thought. A fascinating work indeed. :rose.
