UPDATE... AGAIN!!! Converted to digital format to make the details stand out better. Also made her eyes seem to be glowing. Tbh, I like digital art better... So much cleaner.

So is is my Dragon Ball Z OC. She is an android based off of Imperfect Cell (my favorite version of him cuz he's creepy and cool). But unlike Cell, she is actually a good guy, even though the Z Fighters and everyone think otherwise due to the destruction Cell had caused in the past. She is an outcast to society because of her appearance and power. She was never completed, and doesn't have the gene that could allow her transformation into her perfect form... So this is the final form she will ever be able to achieve.

I'm thinking... she was discovered as an egg in an abandoned lab that belonged to Dr. Gero in present time around the time Cell was initially defeated. My thoughts would be since she was actually grown long before Cell that she was a prototype to him, but was given up on as she didn't seem to want to fight and hurt others. She seemed more of a joker and peace keeper... Most likely Goku's cells being the dominant trait in that, lolz.

Something had happened to the laboratory that caused an explosion and for her to lose her memories of who she was. By instinct she reverted to larval form and went into hibernation for almost 5 years before a married couple had fallen into the lab by cave-in while they were hiking. They discovered the strange egg and took it home for study... Only to witness its hatching. The couple were at first afraid of the small blue creature, but later on decided to keep her (as the wife was baren and could not produce children of her own). Dragonfly was kept a secret from the world as she grew. She lived with her new parents in the mountains, never being allowed outside or into cities. The only way she knew of the outside world was through books, television, music and radio.

Tragedy struck her family as Dragonfly reached adulthood after almost 4 years. She was home and watching the news when She saw that her parents had been shot and killed while at the grocery store. She went to town and tried to help her parents. Her father, with the last of his strength gave her a key to a secret room in their basement that held the secrets of who/what she really was. Police came to the scene and called her a monster and blaming her for their deaths. She didn't know why and ran home... That night, she discovered that she was nothing like any creature on earth... Not human, not Namekian, not Saiyen, but something created in a laboratory...

Later that night, Dragonfly packed her things and said goodbye to the life she used to have, slowly discovering her powers along the way and that she could fly... But she could never fit in wherever she went and was forced to live in the shadows of the world alone and always traveling... Searching for clues to her shattered memories and learn why she was created in the first place...

PLEASE DON'T HATE ON MY OC OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. CELL WAS MY FAVORITE VILLAIN ON THE DBZ SERIES WHEN I WAS 5 YEARS OLD. AND I FINALLY CREATED A CHARACTER LIKE I'VE BEEN WANTING TO DO FOR A WHILE NOW...
