In the Darkness

This is for 's EPIC contest. Unfortunately, I didn't hear about it until last minute, so mine is rather rushed... *sigh*

Anyways, these characters are Exiel ([link] ) and Miz ([link] ), and they both belong to Kilara. They are Avians, an ancient dragon race that was also created by Kilara.

If you're familiar with these characters, you'll know that their relationship is a little... complicated... Miz is Exiel's stepmom >.>

It always makes me feel sorry for them, because not only did Exiel lose his mother, he also lost any chance of happiness with his lover, and I'm guessing that now they have to keep any contact between them a secret.

I noticed that there's practically no art work of them being together, HAPPY, so I wanted to give them a little moment, even if it only lasts for a second, because they deserve that, right? WOW, run-on sentence, but eh.

NOTE: If you want to draw an Avian, make sure it is a pre-existing character created by either Kilara or one of her friends. She doesn't want these guys mass produced.

Last edit! I promise! ...or promise to break that promise... because I'll probably go back over it and fine-tune it a bit more. Like I said, guys, this one was rushed. A lot ;_;
