Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Archdemon will be killed not by Grey Warden, he will reborn in closest darkspawn's body. Looks like wardens there got a little problem...

When the Archdemon dies, its soul goes to the next TAINTED BEING, so even if it kills himself, the soul would go to the chthulhubaby Daveth conceived with Morrigan and we're back on canon.
And if you argue "Morrigan should be in the party", know that the game can glitch since I got the "survival" ending even without Morrigan in the party but doing the Dark Ritual.

Actually, Morrigan doesn't need to be in the party for the survival ending to work. Apparently it's part of the ritual itself. The magic used acts like a beacon for the Archdemons soul or something, I was never totally clear on the details. It was a magic she learned from Flemeth of all people, so I didn't question it too much.

That's what I stated. I called it a "glitch" because according to some guides you need both performing the Dark Ritual and Morrigan in the party to survive, but I never experienced a Warden's death because Morrigan wasn't there. Maybe it was intended but never implemented, who knows...
