Gawd, wish I could've made a comic instead but then I realized that the contest's deadline's so close, so I had to cut it short by far and just drew their designs instead. I really wanted to draw Shoe's reaction, though, but I didn't... because I'm lazy a frag when it comes to more than sketching. :T

I know that Chaser has already been drawn with grey cat ears and all, but thing is that the design in this AU/multiverse/whatever-i'll-call-it-later are different. Ears and tails are mainly white because of their bones and their magic represents the color on their animalistic features. PS: Those white ears and tails ain't bones.

YES, I know those wings need to be bigger in order to make someone fly, but Nectos can fly on his own, so shuch'up.

And if anyone's wondering why I'm, or rather Shoe, is suddenly turning everyone into hybrids, let's just say that I've planned a little mini-comic. Or little mini-comic-series. I'm just testing some designs, and apparently am I better at changing character designs than I thought.^-^
And yes, it's mainly about animal spirits. And kinda about the Bookshelf. :33

Fun fact: I actually wanted to draw Chaser as fox, just because of him being a thief, and Nectos as coyote, plus Shoe's already the cat of the office and knowing him he always thinks he's having the OG cat spirit. But really, I found two others who definetely deserve those two titles more than the other two, so I just gave Chaser a cat spirit and Nectos a bat spirit. The idea of Nectos as bat came from CyaneWorks .

I saw the other entries and already realized that I could've went with a better idea, so I'm guessing that I won't go under the top three. But whatever, I'm fine with that, I just care about the epic design I got out of it. I mean, damn, just look at dem wings! I'm freakin' proud of this one. :3
Okay, not with the shading because look at all those errors, but man, I got some cuteness out of it. X3

While Chaser's like "I'm okay with this costume and the odd cat features, but it sure as heck is embarrassing", Nectos is being a bit more salty about his costume. Hey, don't blame me, blame my skeletal son! xD

...Why am I even doing contest this whole weekend? I could write on Castle's Pet more instead... What's wrong with me? Better yet; Why do people still camp for an update? o.o
