Just a little something to tide you over until I can get another proper deviation up. I have another one of these in storage that you'll probably get sometime next week
Since I have less lessons this year and some more free time, I can hopefully get some more art done. So I'mma make it my mission to upload something at least every fortnight, so hopefully I'll be able to keep that promise!
Expect to see many crappy doodles ;D
This was done from a tutorial in *neondragon 's book DragonArt: Evolution. And as watercolour practise for me. Ot of the two that I did, the other one came out better. The dark green here is just too dark for my liking. Overall I'm not happy with this, but it'll do for now xD

But yeah, it shows you how to do all sorts of heads, wings, eyes, ears, horns, scales everything, as well as some complete dragons in cool poses xD It even has bridles and saddles! And it has some doos and don'ts for colouring xD Even a digital painting walkthrough, though the tutorial on her website is better (or was, I can't remember if she took that one down or not).
There's a lovely one of a diving dragon that I Pernified and am now painting, so expect to see that sometime soon, hopefully xD It should have a rider on it but I'm too lazy to draw a puny crap human on him xD
The original colour scheme is completely different - purple and yellow xD
