Well, this pic was inspired from the first Inuyasha movie -- which I just downloaded! So excited!
Anyway, draw by hand and colored in Open Canvas 1.1, so I hope it looks okay. My first attempt with this kind of program, so I just kinda winged it. I screwed up Kagome's hair while I was doing the BG, and I took at least half the time on this pic attempting to fix it. Oh, and ignore the horrible BG!!! I tried really hard on the background.. sorry it sucks!

Thanks! It wasn't so much that the picture itself sucked, the background just does. I'm actually pretty proud of the pic... But I do need to practice with backgrounds, ne?

This is awesome, and don't feel discouraged, it happens to me all the time with the hair and ect...not to mention half of my pictures don't sport backgrounds because of said problems with programs that I really don't even begin to know how to use. >.<

Hehe! Yeah, I know what you mean... I don't think any of my pics had BG's until this one, so hopefully, over time, I can improve with them! Grr, black hair is so hard! Oh well, thanks!

You're welcome. ^^ I agree though, black hair is rather difficult to do, it doesn't have as many varying tones as other colours do so it makes it harder to get it to look like it has multi dimensions, espescially on darker back grounds >.< That's why I usually make it a specific type of black hair so I can play with the amount of hues I use, such as Sango, for instance, whose hair shows up a little more brown in light than that of Kagome or Miroku and so I mix the colours and use more browns than blacks to complete the look of hair that has depth. ^^ I use blue for Kagome and Miroku.
