The only critique I can think of it what ~badness-cat already pointed out, about the dolphin being kind of flat.

Well, first off, I totally this.

I think the dolphin is a litte too..... ....flat, maybe? the poor guy doesn't have as much detail as the mer-girl. I think some markings or someting would be nice, maybe even a few muscles... However, I know nothing about dolphin musculature.... Sorry.
