What's the age difference between AJ and Apple Bloom? If Diamond Tiara (same age as Apple Bloom) isn't there yet, but AJ's parents aren't around either... That means Apple Bloom must be there when this episode's flashback takes place....

Ok, there are three basic solutions:
First: The assumption that Apple Bloom and Diamond Tiara are the same age, is false.
(Why are they in the same class? Well, either DT is very smart or AB is ... I don't like where this is going... NEXT)
Second: The Apple parents are still around during the flashback.
(Why are the siblings arguing, who of them is going to run the farm then...)
Third: Both Apple Bloom and Diamond Tiara are already foaled during the flashback.
(This makes the most sence to me AND fixes the timeline... But would make Filthy Rich and Spoiled Milk "not very Christian")
