Hello there, I am starting an photography art board standard at school and we need to show our influences and images that relate to the ones we pick. Would you allow me to put this piece in my folder to show artistic influences and possible poses and/or compositions?

Oh my gosh! THis is so creeeeepy and good! I love this - and the eerie words to go with it. Where do I begin?
First of all, what did you use for 'blood?'
I love the bites that are oozing poison. It reminds me of Snow White. Isn't it you who was toying around with the concept of illustrating fairy tales?
The surface it is on is perfect, as is the abyss-like black background. This is a great, stark picture of death.

great idea on this one, i love the dual hole that has the blood spilling from it, but my favorit part would be the drops that skick on the sides. altogether GREAT job!

Definitely an interesting concept, and I'd have to say you pulled it off well. The colors work very well for this with the bright green offset by the deep red.
My main problem with this is that it's a little blurry in full view. You can probably fix it with just a little bit of Sharpen Filter, but it was definitely caused by the focus of the lens at the time the pic was taken. It seems like the camera's autofocus wanted to keep the concrete at the bottom in focus. Everything else is fine, but the blur keeps it from being truly outstanding.
Also, what did you use to make the red goo? Is that jelly or a juice of some type? It works well.

I took your advice and ran it through a sharpen filter. Tell me if you think it looks any better.
For the blood/goo, I used red food dye mixed with corn syrup.

This is pretty damn cool. It's rediculously good. I love the surface it's sitting on and the droplets on the side of the apple. Don't really like the stem area being filled up, tho. I'm not sure why...
I dunno if you did this on purpose, but the shape of the bites make me thing vampire. Two deep holes... whatever... maybe I'm just drawing false connections to every person's devations...
There's a lot of vampirism type of stuff posted her.

The bites weren't intentionally vampirish, I just bloodied up the deepest parts of the holes.
