like...are they trying to justify why the player characters are not pimpled to the brim despite being teenagers?
oh yeah btw the kids here are 14-16(Emerald being 14) because it's more believable for them to be in that age group the way i draw them.
(also because Nemona,Penny and Arven look a bit too old to be 11)
