Damian jolted awake, feeling a bang of guilt about yesterday. Huffing, he went downstairs seeing his father and Alfred. He gave Bruce a glare before ignoring him and eating his breakfast. Damian looked over to see he had that Brioche stuff next to him. He would normally eat it, but he didn't feel hungry. He pushed his plate to the side at thought about what had happened or what will happen. Now that he was currently grounded from patrol, being robin was a bit impossible. He wasn't allowed to go out in fear he may runway. Hell, he had to be with someone just so he could be "safe". Damian thought this was stupid as he was 13 and he was old enough to walk outside. What was he, five? Damian ran his hand across his raven hair, feeling the spikey tips of his hair. Before putting that hand over his eyes. He hid his eyes and slammed his head against the table. He had no choice, but to be stuck in this house. He was Robin, he was supposed to fight crime, not be in the mansion. Being grounding sucks. Not only do you not do anything, but there was no one his age around the house, Bruce was like 35 and Alfred was like umm.. old as hell. Here he was with nothing to do. Damian thought about it for a moment, what would Batman do now that he doesn't have him by his side, stupid question, he would kick villains off the street himself. But he knew to his father it felt better with a sidekick at times. I mean, he felt so replaceable, Batman could just call up Nightwing, Jason or that excuse of a robin,Tim. Sure, Jason wouldn't ant to work with Batman, but if forced he will while grinding his teeth. Dick was elsewhere, Jason was doing his own thing, and Tim was with the titans. Sure, they could still help the old mad out, but Damian was his "sidekick" until he is on his own. That's all he was, a replacement until he becomes his own hero, but for now, he was stuck as Robin. He was nothing, but a robin to his father. He could just replace him with Grayson and everything would be just fine. No......He'll show them, he'll show him that he is more than a sidekick he found. He was Robin, and he was going to prove himself to Bruce whether he liked him going out to Gotham or not. Of course he was going to form a plan, he knew it was going to take a bit of time. But no matter, he was going to prove he was the most useful Robin, and he was going to make the criminals scream while blood is going down the floor. He is Damian Wayne, and he was going to becomes the Best.
