Description I love the book 'Call of the Wild' by Jack London. This was the most vivid part of the story for me. Buck's determination to down this mighty beast. It seemed to me that it was him conquering his environment and him going into the wild. I know Buck should be a Saint Bernard, but he is a wolf at heart. <3

to  Improvement-Club  , I believe the lighting and shading needs some improvements. The anatomy of the characters seem OK to me. If you have another opinion then please share. Thanks.

Hello. I don't know anything about meese (mooses?), so take these suggestions with a hogshead of salt: sta.sh/01o9yasssh10

The image at sta.sh doesn't show up properly for me. If you click on it it should become visible.

You're 100% right on the dog. I see what you're saying on the moose. I was trying to make him look weak but still trying to run and fight. In the book Buck (the dog) stalks him and will not let him rest for days. He was also shot in the hip with a arrow before hand. Not really falling, but I like that idea better. It's more like he has conquered the wild if the moose is finally falling and giving in! Thank you so much I will do some editing or might just start over.

I suspected that. If it is strong enough to stand up, then it would keep its center of weight between the supporting legs. I'm guessing that the leg with an arrow in it doesn't support any weight and in that case the moose can't stand up as you've drawn it.

If you look at my left moose alternative, notice that I've moved the front leg so that the moose barely is in balance,

I'm glad you found it useful!
