I agree completely.
On the other hand, in art looking at the cover or other parts, aspects or elements of the artwork and then makig your own stories and pictures from it is a great source of inspiration. Of course I also read the book.

Yeah I was thinking more that it didn't just apply to books but to people, like not judging people by how they look, but it could mean something different for everyone.
