At last spring came, with its warm sunshine."Kai is dead and gone!" said little Gerda.
"That I don't believe," said the Sunshine.
"Kai is dead and gone!" said she to the Swallows.
"That I don't believe," said they: and at last little Gerda did not think so any longer either.
this is a piece made for my art class assignment. i chose to illustrate The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. i still have to do two more panels from the story.
heh heh... i should get to work! the original was done on A3 200gsm drawing paper, so it wasn't very easy to fit in the scanner. alas, the scanner also took away ALL of the sky colour. ALL OF IT. >_<
anyways, hope you enjoy Gerda and her conversation with the sunshine and the swallows.
