*strokes chin, cocks head a little* Well, emif... you know I loves ya and all that, but allow me a teensy critique? Virgil's head's a bit too elongated... can't quite figure out exactly how to word that... (God damn it all, why I am talking when I'm bordering exhaustion?) On a technical wording, here's what could be done to correct that: move the chin's point up, slant it at a greater angle (as the angle is a bit too sharp for his jawline), and the mouth seems like it's in the wrong place. *cocks head a little more* Uh-hummm... *draws on computer screen with her fingers* Ahhh, perfect! Change the chin so it's directly beneath the mouth, maybe off by a fraction of a centimeter... and voila, c'est parfait.
I apologize 'cos I'm not usually one to give a critique (I'm severely self-critical, not to mention when I'm as tired as I am, I get all obsessive-compulsive.

Yes, Virgil in general is rather messed up in this picture. I was actually planning on trashing this one as I hate the appearance of both boys. Virgil's face is horrible and too long. I learned that the anime style isn't really fit for African American superheroes with their not so narrow features.
I believe you are right on this matter. I also was rather uncomforted by the fact that in the coloring process Virgil appeared to be trying to seduce me. It was unnerving. Oh well, this was an experiment. Experiments often don't go over well.

Yes, he is a really attractive and psychotic young Asian man whom I have dubbed a Thai and Japanese mix. You know how much I adore Shiv. However Virgil shall always be my endearing favorite. He's just too cute and polite to not fall in love with.
But yes cheese doodles in incredibly seductive and is inductive of his scavenging skills which are a necessary skill for any small semi-helpless Asian supervillian.
However I enjoyed seeing Shiv cry after being assaulted by an elderly African American woman and her pepper spray.

A bit late (I've only just checked my messages) but Jaci and I burst out laughing when we saw that. That black woman was the shiznit! Totes. As for Shiv... I was going to make him Japanese-American (like Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park, who seems to be the only half-Asian guy I think is teh sex), but the main reason for that was because he was gonna have a stockade of manga (and pocky for Hotstreak when he's good! =3). In my little idea thingy... I was going somewhere with a Shiv/Hotstreak but that's only an aside pairing as part of the story... the main plot is Hotstreak kidnaps Richie, and I'm debating whether or not to make it like this Digimon fanfiction [[link] but that would mean that I would have to kill someone, which leads to breaking Richie. I don't know if I should... but Shiv is there for comic relief anyway. But with a Japanese-American mix, I would have to use a different name, and as much as I'm fond of your name for him... it doesn't work with my story. *sigh*
