The words of the songs kept playing on repeat in her mind. And for such an hopeful theme with a taste of realizing dreams, Alexa could barely feel it as of now. Stress came in waves, one minute she collected herself back into an obviously zen attitude, while the next one she could feel her guts twisting, her heart in her throat and despite not eating anything today Alexa could be so damn sure she had a dinner to throw up. So far so good, no wall had been painted in vomit yet, the mare was already tacked up, only one class and she would be done for this event.

Just

one

class.

In the meantime, despite Alexa's unusual paler complexion, the outfit surely had everything to impress, a bold color, gold embroidery, glitter, oh glitter, enough to leave a trail wherever she went in the guest stable. Even Hiro and Tess had not been spared from a shower of sparkles each time Rep whiped her tail in impatience - after all, her human did not seem in her usual shape recently, and the mare for one could definitely see and of course feel that. Which made her cranky as Tess pulled on the girth, offering her best dragon face but quickly stopped as soon as she saw Alexa walk back their way. Ears straight forward and bright eyed by the idea of finally quitting the stall.

It's without fuss that Republic took the bridle and Al' secured all of the straps, some last minute touch ups, and they were off for the warmup. Which went smoothly, she did no look at anyone else, simply focusing on her mare and her own nerves. Then soon enough it was time to get to the Underwater arena. Maybe it should have been one of the most comfortable place for her in this setting, but tonight surely felt different.

" Oh god."
A shame she did not believed in one. Because she surely would have needed all the help she could find. A divine intervention would have been happily accepted. Alexa was Frozen for a second, wide eyed and biting her lip as they reached the arena; thankfully the mare did not loose a stride, showing none of the internal panic of the rider.
" Get it together. "

She thought to herself, clenching her hands on the reins as she straightened her position and raised her chin, finally acting like the Queen she was, no matter how fake this feeling was at this instant. The show was on, and there was no way she would ridiculize herself tonight. This crippling anxiety could f*uck right off. Alexa's nose wrinkled, rilling herself up simply by the thought of it. There was no going back anyway. She led her mare to the center of the dressage rink, building her courage up in every steps, so well that right before her salut, Alexa did not miss her chance to stare straight back at one of the judges . Giving him one of her very own signature look; bold, intense and full of fire. What a Leo does best.

She had all her intention to make this spotless despite everything, neither this gut wrenching stress nor Damon's intimidation would get the best of this Italian.

Then suddenly her lips cracked in a charming and confident smile, her arm elegantly stretched in an extravagant salute and her head dropped.

Tonight. she was a Ring Master.

And Alexa surely had in her plans to tell this tiger who is running this show this time.
