I think it looks great! I don't know what those guys are talking about. I think it looks different enough thatΒ I don't believe you copied it.Β There are similarities of course but sometimes that happens, theres bound to be a resemblance when doing a close up portrait and you only have so many colors to choose from.

I don't know... the styles are sufficiently different, and a shared pallet may or may not be coincidental. Β It makes sense to pick a color that complements the piece and with the blue mask, it ties in well. Β I can see any number of artists making that color choice. Β Maybe an "inspired by" citation at most. Β

The style is "different" just cause Rapoza's skill level is just way way higher.. but you can clearly tell that he used same lighting almost same pose, same viewing angle, same everything, but dumbed down to this artist's skill level.Β
But yea.. AT LEAST an "inspired by" but this was definitely referencing Rapoza.Β

I love more turtley takes on the TMNT, and yours still leaves plenty of room for expressiveness, I think. Overall, this is pretty great! I love the fact that you didn't go overboard with the textures as much as the texture work itself. And of course, your choice of turtle is just the icing on the cake.
