followed this tut [link] pretty easy to make

I have removed your island base and the credit for it, from my work. It is sad that you flamed my thread and my posters over a simple misunderstanding that took me 5 minutes to fix. In the future it may be wise to get a response from someone before insulting them in their own domain. I would personally find it flattering, if someone choose to use my work out of hundreds of other available choices! I liked your piece because it caught my eye and worked well in my project, to bad the owner could not do the same.

wow i searched floating island on google in the hopes of finding pictures of genuine islands floating in the sea, and this is the first thing that came up. i was like wow that is so much cooler than what i was searching for.

I usually prefer dof when I can afford the render time.
I think it would looks better if there was more of it though. There's barely a difference between the two!

I do my dof in ps lol don't have the patients to wait for extra hours in vue. I use dofpro, and I didn't want to add to much dof, cause it looked funny lol

I really like this one more, the floating island really stands out with the sky and distant land blurred..really cool

The DoF really makes a big difference, in my mind, to the realistic look of this one vs the other!
