Description I stared at that last picture for half an hour. Something about it bugged me. Then it hit me. The last picture was just too dam boring. So for the sake of making something dull look more thrilling, I coloured it.

Yeah some cribs with it myself. I touched the bottom right corner with light green as a contrast with the top left being pitch black. I'm not sure if the colours go together. For one, it draws the eye too much towards it. Oh wells. When I removed it it looked wrong so I have to like it and lump it.

Drawing this guy was dam hard, the easiest part was the sky. I serious had to sit there and study the images of the dragon Malchior and really work out where all the highlights went as I drew them. I hope I didn't over do it.

this picture took me 1 and a half hours to colour. It took me 40 mins to draw it. My mother is right. I do work fast. O.o' I think I need to learn to slow down.

This reminds me of an animated television series or film from the 1980’s, based on the type of colouring you used there which resembles binary shading. Although those foreground clouds surrounding that dragon are anything but binary shading, since they look like they are using more than two shades of grey in a continuously-smooth (or gradiented) manner. And not to mention that unusual skyscape you painted there – you did surely spend some effort getting those contrastive colours on the background clouds, especially the bottom-right neon-like green and the top-left hazy-like purple that seems to dominate the overall mood of the scene. Although I am a bit confused about the direction of light here: while the shading on the dragon suggests that light is coming from his right side (our left side), the neon-like green of that cloud behind his tail suggests that light is coming from behind him – unless that cloud is not a cloud but some aurora borealis-like feature instead.
Maybe this is meant to be a hybrid form of coloured art blending 1980’s-style binary with 1990’s-style gradients and 2000’s-style background shading. And in spite of that possible clash between apparent light direction and perceived shadow casting, I feel like it was worth my time to see this – 14 years after you made it. Maybe that CORE was worth at least something before it runs out for good.
