Because he needed one!My version of him is based onto the image of the cub at the end of TLK, i like to think it's Kopa and not Fluffy or Kiara or whatever. And i took the colours right from the scene, darkened them just a bit (since we know that cubs' pelt darkens with age), gave him green eyes from Nala or Scar and his mane colour is also from Nala and yeah! Here he is
Hope you like him.
And sorry for not uploading speedpaints, they will be in the gallery very very soon today, i couldn't find time to upload anything on Saturday and Sunday so yeah.

Your theory does clear up Kopa's existence to some degree. And it could also explain Kiara to some extent since I'm pretty sure we don't get a close up of "Fluffy".

I think Kiara was like, a bit older than Kopa - he was a normal cub, she was a newborn baby. But something happened to him so we don't see him in the movie.

You're welcome. And makes sense but I still like to pretend Kiara was the cub seen at the end of the first movie and have Kopa be born sometime after Simba's Pride...usually with littermates; I have a theory that in the Pridelands (and possibly other prides we don't see), it's common and in fact expected that the first cub a couple produces is a single birth while all following are generally litters. When I apply this to Mufasa and Taka/Scar, I either have them be littermates on first birth with Mufasa being a few minutes eariler or have Taka be an unusual single birth as second-born.

wow!! i've always supported the fact that Kopa should have green eyes as opposed to red. he's basically a duplicate of Simba without them, so they give them some individuality. also, it looks nicer with Simba and Nala's cubs having different eye colours, it's boring otherwise!! i love your style so much...
