"The Cockatrice (Galliserpens halitosis) is the last surviving member of Lacertavidae, a group of birds with reptilian characteristics. It feeds on frogs, mice and insects using a mildly toxic venom similar to a Gila Monster and uses its bright colorful neck frill to scare off predators. It is found in Europe and also the Eastern United States where the locals have dubbed it, the Snallygaster.

The Basilisk (Basiliskos aegypticus) is the second largest snake in the world behind the extinct Titanoboa, growing to over 45 feet in length. It can be found across the Middle East and Northern Africa. It relies on a powerful venom to paralyze its prey like wild ass and antelope which it will then swallow alive."
