(Kili x Reader)

"Come on (Y/n). You need to hurry up so Thorin can't catch up to us!" Kili hissed, grabbing your hand while he ran quicker around the castle.

"What did you two do?" You asked, hearing Fili behind you.

Kili laughed and shook his head. "Nothing. Just messed with him."

You rolled your eyes while you turned a corner. "You two are awful."

"If we're so awful, then why do you have a crush on Kili?" Fili teased.

"I do not!" You yelled, stopping suddenly. "I think you two should live up to your actions!" And with that, you quickly got away from them.

Thorin ran past you and you could hear him yell at the two while you went to your room. Staying at the Oakenshield home was almost like your home. No one really cared, but you perfered to either spend the night with the twins, or sneak into Thorins room so he could tell you stories.

Getting to your room, you shut the door and got ready for bed. You sat down on the bed and sighed softly, looking up at the ceiling while you put out the candle.

After what seemed like hours, you discovered that you couldn't sleep. So you did what you always do. Get out of bed and go right to Thorin.

When you got to his door, you knocked and the door opened quickly. A sleepy Thorin in front of you. "(Y/n)?"

"I can't sleep. Can you tell me a story?" You asked while he let you into the room.

"You know I'm always here to do that." He smiled softly while he sat down on the bed with you. "Is there anything on your mind?"

Shaking your head, you moved closer to him while he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. "Tell me the one where Bofur fell down the stairs."

Thorin smirked slightly. "I've told you that one tons of times."

"It's my favorite. I can't help it." You smiled, looking up at him. "It's funny because he got hurt."

"Sometimes I wonder how we're not realted." He sighed, laying back with you while he started to tell the story.

You woke up and looked around, Thorin no where to be found. Slowly, you climbed out of the bed and went to your room to get ready for the morning.

"Spending the night with Thorin I see?" Fili asked from behind you.

"Oh shut up and leave me alone." Rolling your eyes, you went inside your room and looked through your clothes.

He laughed slightly. "Not going to happen. What happened yesterday? One minute we were all fine, then the next you were yelling at us."

You sighed and continued looking at your dresses. "I don't want to talk about it."

"I know why. You like Kili. I can tell by the look on your face." He yelled, pointing at you.

He was getting on your nerves and you knew had to shut him up. Grabbing your bow and arrow, you quickly pointed it at his forehead. "Shut up Fili."

"Oh look, you're even using the weapon he taught you how to use." He said mockingly, not moving an inch.

You wouldn't move either. Killing Fili wasn't going to be an option, and you didn't want to try. But you still kept your arrow up.

"(Y/n), have you seen my--" Thorin was quickly cut off when he saw the two of you. "Can you drop the weapon?" He asked you calmly. "And can I ask what is going on?"

Fili sighed. "(Y/n) likes Kili and she won't accept it." He whined.

You stomped your foot and looked at the two of them. "Why can't you just stay out of my life?!" You screamed, starting to cry.

Thorin nodded lightly and grabbed his nephew and dragged him out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

Throwing your bow and arrow aside, you quickly colapsed on the bed and cried lightly. Just great. Fili tormented you until you cried.

"(Y/n)? Can I come in? I found a pair of shoes and I think their yours. I'm not sure if they are, but they look like girls shoes..but I still don't know so I wanted to check." It was Kili.

Sighing softly, you bit your lip and dried your eyes. "Come in."

Much to your relif he was too busy looking at the shoes to look at you. "See, I couldn't tell. I thought, someone must have girly shoes, then I was like; oh we live with a girl." He said, inspecting the shoes.

You laughed lightly. "Kili those are girl shoes. I must have left them somewhere."

"Well here you go." He smiled, handing them to you. "Is something wrong? You look like your crying. Insted of Bofur falling down the stairs, did you fall down the stairs?" He asked, sitting down on the bed with you.

This made you smile brightly. He knew how to make you smile. "No. Nothing's really a problem." You said, playing with your hair.

Kili looked you in the eyes and shook his head. "Nope. Something's wrong. I can tell."

"Your brother. But Thorin is taking care of it, as we speak." You sighed, looking at him.

He shook his head slightly and hugged you. "I'm sorry for him. He's just awful. Even when he gets his mind stuck on something.."

Nodding, you leaned into him. "You got that right."

Kili smiled softly and looked at you. "Don't listen to him."

"Well, I kind of have to."

"Why's that?"

"Because he was right." You smiled, gently kissing him.

Quickly, you got up and left the frozen dwarf sitting there.
