I think of this image every time I hear anything even vaguely electropop-ish... by association with "Griffin Village - Summer", of course! Out of curiosity, what is your usual process for making pics like these? I thought you just made the black lineart on one layer, then made a separate layer for the color above or underneath. But in this pic it looks like the lineart is actually colored.
I'm interesting in trying a similar painterly style. XD

Yup! Simply choose "Preserve Transparency" (Open Canvas) or "Lock: Transparent Pixels" (PS) to be able to change JUST the color of the lineart. I pasted together a crappy tut just to show how I work 100%: [link]
