This is beautiful; a great composition. I love the lighting, the frenzied feel and I love the idea that such a rare, beautiful fish can still find enough of their kind to form a school somewhere, perhaps in a hidden corner of the world. But what I think REALLY makes this so great is that it's a real fish that exists in nature, portrayed it as it looks in nature, but it still has a fantasy feel to it.
It's the best illustration I've seen in a while.

I love the dept of the colours, real mysterious. Yea, they do resemble stars, don't they? Adds to the mysterious, sorta spooky look.
