Nameless King never lost the annals. That was a translation error in the English version. It was originally supposed to say he was lost too the annals of history.

Yeah but in DkS1 it said that Gwyn's son lost the annals and DkS3 confirmed that the Nameless King is Gwyn's son.

Um I literally just told you the DS1 had a translation error in it. Itβs supposed to say Gwynβs firstborn was lost to the annals of history. As in he was erased from historical records, not that he lost the actual annals. That never made sense in the first place.
The Sunlight medal description makes it clear that translation was wrong:
The symbol represents Lord Gwyn's firstborn,
who lost his deity status and was expunged
from the annals.
How could Gwyn erase his son from the annals if he lost them? It's a mistake on the teams part.
