I love how the background and the cross are so simple, when he has such beautifull details.
The colours you have used are just pure luv, it is almost needles to say how deliciously rich they are.

The burn effect isn't overused.. The wings do look a little solarized, but I like the creepy impression it gives.

He is gorgeous! I do love what you did with him. Maybe the burn was just a touch too dark, it's the closest to black of anything in the image and red of the wings competes mightily with the rest of the image, but the overall technique to it was perfect. It added a lot of nice texture and depth to the wings. Did I mention that I really like this?
