I couldn't decide whether to go with rolled or ripped up sleeves + striped vs non-striped so I included Roxy Rex to be able to show off both...But honestly how could I not roll with gay sailor stripes?When coloring I tried to channel the SFxT ingame style but in the end I more or less just steered to my old ways...

Um... no, Capcom has done no such thing. Rather the opposite, actually. There's a lot of solid evidence that Poison was designed from the beginning as transgender. It's just that in the U.S., she's post-operative during the "action" of the game.

Not quite. The "newhalf" designation appears in the original character designs from *before* the game got 'ported to the U.S. market. And even then, Poison and Roxy got taken out of the gang lineup completely and replaced by two male characters for the earliest versions of the game. They got added back in later because transphobic violence was still more acceptable than gynophobic at the time... though I have to question the chorus of crickets from that quarter when Chun Li was one of the core Street Fighter characters.
