From Monty Python's dead parrot sketch with Micheal Palin and John Cleese. That thing that john is carrying is supposed to be a bird cage but now it looks like some strange checkered breif case so just pretend its a bird cag.Related content

JC "Hello, I wish to register a complaint."
JC "Hello Miss?"
MP "What do you mean Miss?"
JC "Oh I'm sorry I have a cold, I wish to make a complaint."
MP "Sorry we're, closing for lunch."
JC "Never mind that my lad I wish to complain about this parrot, what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique."
MP "Oh yes, the uh, the Norwegian Blue?"
MP "What's wrong with it?"
JC "I'll tell you what's wrong with it my lad, it's dead that's what's wrong with it."
MP "No no, it's resting."
JC "Look my lad, I know a dead Parrot when I see 1 and I'm looking at 1 right now."
MP "No no it's resting, remarkable bird the Norwegian Blue, beautiful plumage."
JC "The plumage don't enter into, it's stone dead."
MP "No no, it's resting."
JC "Alright then if it's resting I'll wake it up."
JC "Hello Polly! I've got a nice fresh cuttle fish for you if you wake up Mr Polly Parrot!"
MP (pushes the cage) "There it moved."
JC "No it didn't that was you pushing the cage!"
MP "No I didn't!"
JC "Yes you did!" (takes the parrot out of the cage)
JC "Hello Polly! Polly! Wakey Wakey!" (hits the parrot against the counter) "Rise and shine! (hits the parrot against the counter) Testing, Testing! This is your 9 o'clock alarm call! Wake up Polly Parrot!" (hits the parrot against the counter then throw it into the air and watches it fall to the floor) "Now that's what I call a dead parrot!"
MP "It's stunned."
JC "Stunned?!"
MP "Yes stunned! You stunned it just as it was waking up, Norwegian Blues stun easily!"
JC "Listen my lad I've had just about enough of this! That parrot is definitely deceased and when I purchased it not half an hour ago you assured me that it total lack of movement was due to it being tired and shagged out following a prolonged squawk!"
MP "It's probably pining for the Fjords."
JC "Pining for the Fjords what kind of talk is that?!"
JC "Why did it fall flat on its back the moment I got it home?!"
MP "The Norwegian Blue prefers kipping on its back, remarkable bird eh squire? Beautiful plumage."
JC "I took the liberty of examining that bird when I got it home! And I discovered the only reason it had been sitting on its perch in the first place was that it had been nailed there!"
MP "Well of course it was nailed there, if I hadn't nailed that bird down it would've muscled right up to those bars, bent them apart with its beak and voom!"
JC "Look here matey, this parrot wouldn't voom if you put 4,000 volts through it, it's bleeding demised!"
MP "No no, it's pining!"
JC "It's not pining it'd passed on! This parrot is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet its maker! This is a late parrot! It's a stiff! It's snuffed it! Bereft of life it rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed to the perch it would be pushing up the daisies!" It has breathed its last! It's run down the curtain and joined the Choir Invisible! It has kicked the bucket! This is an ex-parrot!
