Well it's against Cujo's nature to care about anyone other than himself. And I've already talked about what would happen if he did somehow care for someone. Anyway, he would never feel regret, mostly because he doesn't really know what he did was bad. He's so detached from the rest of the world and most of the time doesn't even acknowledge others (infected or otherwise) as conscious beings like himself. All he knows is that other people are possible threats and will never be anything else. All they do is hurt him or make him uncomfortable and he doesn't want anything to do with anyone, and so will kill or drive away anyone he comes across.
