I drew this portrait as a gift for my mom for Christmas of 2020. Charlie was our family dog, but had a particularly strong bond with my mom. He sadly passed away in summer of 2019, which was devastating for my mom. A year later I realized how meaningful a portrait of him would be, and created this piece. It is still hanging up in our living room to this day
Charlie is loved.
