Description An example of skip-hole technique. It's easier to see the /\/\ pattern formed by the absence of warp yarns in the version that uses a contrasting color weft (grey/red on left).

Since the cards are turned continuously in one direction this is a great project for those occasions when a hurricane knocks out your power for nearly 4 days since you don't have to keep track of where you are in the pattern for reversing the turning direction.

5/2 mercerized cotton used (except for the red weft which was a 3/2 cotton).

BTW, based on the gray strap I calculated that a project that uses 3 yard long warps needs a weft that's roughly 7.9 yards long.

You mean the storm the weather service is predicting will hit the East coast later this week?  We're keeping an eye on things.
