Description Remember design D here ? [link]

I thought that if the blue dragon was some kind of warrior, could do some kind of sorceress/wizard with the red one The clothes were just a test, but I think I'll keep the body structure and patterns -maybe not her ears. The spikes around her neck are a pain to draw It's pretty cool but, I'm pretty tired, so I don't know if I'll succeed in drawing them tonight

Magus/Wizards design are something I'm not really at ease with too. I always have a hard time finding a really cool and original design ; I tend to end up scrolling through my Magic cards to find one XD That's why I want to make her like that, until I got a better idea. I'll maybe use the green dragon design I made for a third gal.

Neat!

Is she lvl 12? In 5th edition Sorcerers can manifest dragon wings at that level. Then again, I'm still learning my way around DnD.

Oh, I just created this character out of pure randomness, with no afterthought XD In the 4th edition, they could have wings at lvl 11th I think... and in the 3.5 edition, you could have them from the start.

I see. I've been reading about other editions, but because I've only got into DnD (and roleplay in general) quite recently, I'm aware there is a lot of stuff I still need to get accustomed to. Still, the game is great fun, and, honestly, I do enjoy to DM the most.

DMing is fun, sure But I sometimes enjoy being a player too ; sometimes it's better to just sit at the table, and let things go

Oh, indeed! I'm also going as a player in a campaign a friend of mine is running, a dragonborn rogue, no less. It is being quite the fun ride, honestly.

But, on the other hand, running a game and forging your own world also has its quips.

The spines around her collar and neck are brilliant! (who needs jewelry when you have those!) but I imagine they would be a pain to keep drawing! I actually like how you went the opposite of what people would assume (that the red would be the warrior and the blue would be the sorcerer)

I know a lot of people tend to like drawing magic users in flowing robes and such, I've never drawn them that way myself! I always imagined they'd need to run pretty fast so robes aren't exactly ideal lol

Actually, I thought about a sorcerer-like character, and these one tends to be pretty aggressive and fiery, I guess it works well with a fire oriented dragon

Yeah, but usually there's a distinction between the classical wizard and the sorcerer : the first one uses his time studying in books or with other magus -they rarely run very fast, and exceptions apart, they are rarely athletics- the second one has innate abilities and make their capacities evolve on ground -more like practical leather armors or clothes I dressed her like the first one, but it would be best to draw her like the second.

Yes it does!

Lol because they're boring old farts lol
Well she could always have two outfits, one for when she's in a city place and one for when she's running about in the wilderness!

Pretty cool idea This would make a huge luggage, but I see her using her spells to transport all his junk

It's not enough to cast fireballs and lightning bolts, everyday uses is cool Spells that do your laundry, get the trash off and go buy some food, that's cool too

Sleyf In reply to EMP-83 [2013-03-23 14:49:35 +0000 UTC]

Exactly, I mean how often do you need to roast people alive with fireballs? Not often, but laundry has to be done every week!

EMP-83 In reply to Sleyf [2013-03-23 17:56:18 +0000 UTC]

Well, I think it depends on your way of living If you're all day long in dusty ruins full of undeads and goblins, maybe you don't do your laundry very often

Sleyf In reply to EMP-83 [2013-03-24 10:00:55 +0000 UTC]

True! You'd need more fireballs and less cleaning magic

Wow really loving her color scheme in this!
Her garbs are pretty as well- I am a sucker for yellow when it's used correctly

Yeah but... It's too simplistic for me I think Wanted to try the stuff, the fun fact is it's just like strips of fabrics, holding thanks to the belt.

you could always add some embroidered patterns up along the ends of the panels of the dress or add something like lace or leather in the mix
personally I like the cut of the dress that you chose I wish I thought of it myself :3

I'll see If I find better, then I'll change, but I could keep it. Yup, I thought too about some patterns, like runes, on her robe.

I hope you do keep it maybe if it's even for only special occasions XD
