The Ikarian Labyrinth:

The Nakai Light Gate System also known to races across the galaxy as the Ikarian Labyrinth was their primary method of travel throughout the Geniocracy from its invention right up until the end of the War of Giants and even partially into the Age of Cinders. Unlike the Unions Quantum Gate system which could take travel between one side of the galaxy to another down to a mere 24 hours travel or travel to another dimension down to a mere week the Nakai gates were instantaneous despite any distance, and could be used to house or traverse artificial pocket dimensions or travel spans as the Nakai wished. Both located in space and even on worlds these gates could transform in size to accommodate any sized craft from a single person stepping through on a planet to the great star ships the Nakai built. Able to switch to any location desired on the grid these gates were a marvel of technological genius even to the Nakai and in some examples weaponized but that is another matter entirely. After the destruction of the Labyrinth Hub by the Geinocrats during the final moments of the war the Labyrinth was left in a state of heavy damage and would be discovered millions of years later by the Atu and the Skia. However the Labyrinth would be all but annihilated during the conflict of that era, leaving only broken isolated spars across the galaxy.
