I've bought a set of copic and gave them a try.Really smooth but extremely expensive!

Copics are amazing. I just got my first set a couple weeks ago.

What kind of paper is it on? Printer? I know some people use different kinds of watercolor paper. Is that necessary for it to be effective? (Yours certainly is. It is amazingly smooth and professional looking. I still cannot believe this was your first Copics test.)

I used copic bleedproof paper, But many copic artists said they like using manga paper.

Will Copics bubble up thinner papers?

What is bubble up?
Some thin papers are designed for copic, My copic bleedproof paper is thinner than normal printer paper, But copic doesn't bleed on it. and doesn't bent like using wet watercolor on thin paper.

I'm about to purchase some copics too. But I'm a little confused about the four different sets. (A,B,C and D) Which one do you use or do you recommand?

haha well when you're just getting a few, they aren't too bad (only about 4 to 5 dollars a marker, depending on what type of marker it is)if you go on copic's site, they have a store tracker where you can find nearby stores that sell them. I was surprised at how many places actually carry them XD
