Description
One of the acrylic paintings for my Fine art Thesis project.It tells about hidden effects of violent videogames that can cause a bad result to children or anyone who plays it.
Done in a semi-abstract and cutesy manga art style.
I used the form of a Nintendo DS mixed with Sony PSP and the flowers are designed from the symbols on the playstation joystick.
Tools : Acrylic color, 140x150cm Canvas
And I took a photo of my work place at the art facility.

lol your thesis is the complete oposite from mine.
my thesis talks about how ESRB codes must be respected so tht the games get to the apropiate people and how games that re violent werent made for children and how parents must be aware of that

woah. somehow the chibish crazy style makes it all the more disturbing. i see both sides of the issue here. i have to admit, im a die hard gamer. i think that if parents keep kids in their own game level till their older and more mature, there would be no effect. but, when parents allow their kids to play violent video games at a young age, it can leave a scar on them. kids have a tendency to copy whatever they see, so playing violent video games might cause them to say things like, "man i wanna kill that man" and such. but i don't think video games would actually cause kids to be violent by itself. maybe if the kids was already a bit mentally damaged. but i'm ranting, main point, love this pic. i love when pictures have a deeper meaning. and i think you portrayed your message well.

not exactly for everyone violent games have bad result... In other violent games are good and bad character when this good use "violent" for this that love can win with those worse anyway...

You only used Nintendo DS when they aren't really the ones whit the really violent games the Playstations have more violence, but the button attacks ppl 0.0 WHAT OUT!
