My long-overdue commission picture for ; a kind of companion piece to my previous drawing of Nazerth's Finest, this time also featuring (Simon) Peter. Jesus apparently decided he didn't feel like walking/standing on top of water today. It has nothing to do with the fact that I totally forgot about this obvious Signature Move.I'm not even a particularly religious person (I'd consider myself agnostic, I suppose), but I firmly believe that Jesus was pretty damn awesome. (Reading Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff has certainly influenced matters, too.)
Dammit, Dreamworks. Why couldn't you make a cartoon about Jesus?!

Cute idea! I love the humor and it's funny to take it so literally XD.
My only issue is that studies are showing that the disciples were probably teenagers/early adults and not old men as previously thought. Just a head's up! But this is very clever!
