many thanks, although I still like the black and white version a little bit better, I will probably go through and rework her color a little bit more here one of these days. but I am glad you love her!

I had the same thought, she is less bereft and forlorn in the coloring process, but Im still tweaking on her, Im hoping the expression comes back with a little more work on her, Im going to darken her up and give her some more intensity so we shall see.

Ever played Heavenly Sword? Its a great little piece of overdone stage theatre, deep mythology, and of course rhythmical and delightfully brutal video game violence. All in all "full on" entertainment assault... ah good times!

Many thanks, I just wish I had the time to sit and finnish the pieces the way they probably deserve. I always get a little self consious about how "sketchy" my gallery is, but these last few years I havent been able to really focus on the finnishing of the ideas like I would like (a whole lot of misforune and deaths in the family, then becomming a mommy and moving across the country, and juggling multiple jobs while I put together a riding/performing arts academy... and dancing and getting myself back into condition after the stroke... its been hard to get the sketchy things finnished, but you know, as long as the idea gets out there, i think thats the important part, I can come back to them later and fix things, or even slowly work on them over an extended period, just a little here or there when I get to it.

Anyway, again I am glad you enjoy my visions. Many many thanks for the compliments.

Well there is always YOUTUBE.... the whole game videos is on there. but its more satisfying to go do it yourself, espeically since I really like the counter feature, its all rhythm! I think the textures of the face and torso smoothed out amazingly well so far, I dont think I lost the expression in the process of making it blend, but Im going to filter her a bit also so some of the roughness of the original shines through also, because shes a warrior and there needs to be some grit on her.

I love her character so much, just the defiant bravery and the pure joy of being DISOBEDIENT! Its inspiring... I know it helped me stay brave a couple times!

I will get to this game eventually...probably a good Winter project, don'tcha think? After all the house stuff is done, and Jaime and Michael move in, she can show me some stuff. She beat that game a long time ago! I need to put my PS3 to work ovah heah!

LOL I remember being like that, no wait, I STILL kinda am! So many projects that I just havent been able to get to... I am so proud that I sat down and got this far into this one! She's got a long way to go (She is going to get alot darker and BOLDER, as that seems to suit her much more than soft and pastel, but you know how it is with the time thing...)

You'll love it once you get the hang of the dodge feature, once you learn how to counter, you never have to actually use the attacks, and you do more dammage, get more style points, and of course along the way you also just get to watch it turn into this brutal ballet. Its all timing, but its very easy to get the hang of. The part I took some getting used to was Kai with her passive ranged attacks, until I figured out that I could toggle it to the joysticks instead of swaying the controller (the counters and recoveries also, that way you just hit X instead of jolting the controller up... its just more precise)
