Ever picked a fight with someone bigger than you? A group of them?

It was your regular afternoon, on a regular day. I was out on my bike, my routine get out of the house ride. Passing the park, I notice a child be picked on my three teens, not much older than myself. They kept chasing him around, pushing him to the ground, then picking him up and pushing him down again. I just stopped to watch, being a bit of a jerk myself. It was pretty funny. The kid was laughing; it wall all a big game to him. They would push him down, and he would sit there laughing histerically until they picked him up. He would run away, making the guys chase him until they pushed him down again, and he would start laughing. It was funny until he stopped laughing when he was pushed. He obviously didn't want to play anymore; but the three boys were getting even more enjoyment out of the child's frustration.
It wasn't funny and more, it was cruel. They would let him go. He kept trying to get away; running into the playground, onto the court, get around more children, but the three guys kept going in their sick little game. I was getting ready to leave when I heard the kid starting to cry. Ignoring his loud screams I started to pedal past them. I saw one of the guys pick up the child up and apologized. Everything seemed fine, until the teen that picked the boy up dropped him, just like that. It was hilarious to them. They were crying in laughter; the boy crying in pain. I was done with this.
"Hey man, he's just a little kid."
"Stay out of it punk, it's not your problem. Ride home." One responded.
"Go fuck yourself tiny totts." Another one.
"Listen you dick-less shit, let the kid go. He's finished." I lost control. I caught myself too late.
They left the kid on the ground and started marching over to me. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't run, too late for that. I backed up a little. There was no where to go. They stepped up and one of them shoved me. Too late now. I swiped at his face, hitting him hard. As he turned away in shock the other two reached out a grabbed me. I struggled agaisnt them, but they had me in a lock. The one I punched turned back a stared at me, his smile a mix of his little yellow teeth and the blood from his cheek. Too late now. He spat in my face then took a shot at my chest, Knocking the wind out of me. The two holding me in place were laughing at me while twisting my arms. The one in front of me continued to pound my torso with a barrage of punches. Every time he struck, it felt like my heart stopped, then started again after the next hit. He began taking harder hits to my face. I was blind now. His fist the only thing I could see. My eyes were being forced shut by bruises and blood. Finally he pulled back and heaved a massive hit into my jaw as the others dropped me to the ground. The dirt mixed with my blood and sweat as I tried to pick myself up. One of them stepped on my back, holding me down, crushing me against the rough earth. No tears from me; I couldn't even think about pain. He took his foot off and they stared down at my limp form.
"You dead yet, boy?" One stupidly inquired as I tried to sit up. They roled me over with their feet and watched me curl and cringe in the dirt. I stared at the little boy; he had watched the whole thing in silence. He looked at me with blank curiosity. No emotion or feelings towards the situation; just like always.
"Lets go guys. Common michael." The little boy get up and followed the three guys out of the park.

He was their little brother.
