Even though she only wears it for 17 episodes, I still like Pearls' first outfit better then her second one.

I don't know if I'm the first to say this, but, Pearl reminds me A LOT of Ilana from Sym-Bionic Titan (good times).
They have pretty much the same hair in color and style, both have an elegant style of combat on their own, both are capable of fusion, both dress elegantly, both are smart in their own way, and both are protectors of world's that are not their own. Oh, and both also don't understand earth customs very well.Β
If they weren't from different universes, I would think they were sisters in a way.

I understand Pearl's got a big fanbase but...recently episodes make me find her less and less...what's a term that is synonymous to favorable?

We should worry for pearl. If she ends up fully losing her sanity and becomes corrupted, I will most certainly cry.

She's not losing sanity more...she's not treated to someone who will talk to her about her issues. Steven's got the cool kids, Connie and his Dad. Garnet's more or less extremely stable and Amethyst is laid back and happy with herself due to youth...Pearl had Rose...ONLY Rose and now...well...dunno.

Which makes we wonder if...subconsciously like Steven said once, that she may resent him for taking Rose from her. I know Garnet's probably adjusted to it and Amethyst is young so she may have attached to Garnet as a result.
