Fun Fact: My personal favorite choice for an actor for Mysterio (Quentin Beck) .... is Christopher Walken.

Honestly, I loved how a lot of the villains in the 90s cartoon were portrayed, Mysterio, Venom and Doc Ock especially. I'm kinda disappointed that Mysterio hasn't made an appearance in the movies yet. Quentin Beck seems like a perfect candidate for a movie villain, or at the very least a secondary villain what with how the movies seem to dislike focusing on only one foe.

Yeah but the scary stuff was often all just, like, acting show, since Quentin Beck was so movie focused--I know it was that he was a ditched film effects guy in the original comics, but his actual investment in movies and theatrics has kinda evolved since then. I would love for his villainous actions to be intimidating (maybe with a bit of cheesy humor mixed in) and then maybe have Quentin Beck in person be just... the most ridiculous level of cheese.
