Description
Ruby's design is nice~Also wanted to test out a different colouring method. So I coloured Ruby's body and clothes in Macromedia Flash and her head and tentacles in photoshop.
I like the outcome.

I do have to say. The gleam effect on her head is amazingly well done! That compared with the shadow really shows where the light is coming from even though there's no proper background
well done ponder!

(I know this is old, but I just wanted to ask something and comment on something. Also, sorry for spelliung mistakes, my tablet is really finicky)
I really love this? I watched the video this was featured in and it took me until today to realize how you put crosses in the parts that were shading. I found this super clever, and I may consider using this technique in the future! I also wanted to ask--during the speed draw, I noticed you using a variety of different colours to line the sketch. May I ask why you did so? I couldn't find any correlation between colour and location, and I am curious as to why this choice was made.

Ah XD I can't really take credit for the Xs in place of shaded parts thing XD
I've seen sketches from comic illustrators doing the same, and it's a practice that I adopted because it helps me remember where there should be solid black/solid lineart colour, without having to muddle up my sketch with shading X3
As for the different colours thing, I explain that with visuals in this video at 43:28

(REALLY LATE REPLY AAAAAH I'M SO SORRY)
Thank you so much! From what I can understand from the video, and I'm just restating what I heard to make sure I understand, you use different coloured lines to connect the line art to each other seamlessly and the colours help with seeing what lines go where. Is that right?

Not just helping with seeing what lines go where, it allows me to easily get right of the parts of lines that I don't need X3

Wow! Rudy Thursday? Really? Talk about a truly under-attended villain.
Great work on expressing her powers as well as conveying the true creepiness of the Headmen.
