I'll admit, I haven't seen anybody else go into the direction of bringing in the roe into the equation. Along with the nod to the sushi roll with the headpiece makes it even more creative. My cultural knowledge still isn't perfect, so I'm having slight difficulty with distinguishing the exact culture you are referencing, still it's gorgeous from the color choices, the shading (especially on the tail, those scales are fabulous), and the posing which makes the whole thing come alive. The only thing that I could critique, or rather "things", are the breasts. They seem oddly spherical rather than a more natural shape. This could be seen as the breasts being suspended in motion, which would make sense, though the pose doesn't read that for me. Still, despite that the overall piece is gorgeous and I'm still mesmerized by that magnificent tail. <3

I tried pulling the breasts up because she had her arms raised, but I think I pulled them back a liiiiitttle too far. Normally they're spherical like that if the arms are raised above the head, but you're right, they're definitely not raised enough for how much I propped up the breasts.
As for the design I was inspired a bit by Brazilian women X3
